CD create pid series model.vi

hi..

i was working with the 'CD create pid series model.vi' trying to make a pid out of it.. i was trying to connect the CD create pid series model.vi to SI model simulation ptbypt.vi so as to see it's response to error signals? but i cannot wire them together as the cluster size (2 and 21) are different..how can i overcome this ?

Hi ajaleelp,

you can use "unbundle by name" and "bundle by name" to create the cluster you need.

hi mike..

  i was checkin out your suggestion.. but then...i couldnt understand it properly.. my problem is..just to make myself more clear...the first vi (CD create pid series model) returns a cluster of 2 elements which represents a transfer function..but the second vi for model simulation is asking for a system model as a cluster of 21 elements..can u please clarify your suggestion..

hi balaji.. if i have guessed right ur example is about combining a cluster of 4 elements to that with 2 elements rite and getting a bigger cluster rite? what i need to do is connect a transfer function system model ( which is said to be a cluster of 2 elements) to the input of another vi which accepts system model as cluster of 21 .. no need of combining clusters..just one vi's input to the other vi's output...
