No. It's a multiple choice test so your LabVIEW version won't matter as long as you have programmed with a version that has come out in the last handful of years.

You should have some reasonable amount of programming experience under the belt before attempting the CLD exam. It is not that easy.
How much programming experience do you have using Labview?

I have not yet taken my CLAD exam, I am taking it in March.
I have taken a few practice tests and done very well.
Just to clear something up, how is the test given?
Is is given on a computer or on paper?
If you can use a computer, are you allowed to open LabVIEW?
I can pass the practice tests without LabVIEW open, but it would be easier with LV.

It depends on where you are taking it. When I took the test at a Technology day, it was taken by perhaps a hundred people. It was on paper.
I think there might be testing sites that give it on computer, but if so, I doubt they would allow you to open LabVIEW.
