Hello,
I wanted to examine Profibus VIs, so I installed the driver from this location (unzipped file, and then installed it, finally PC restart): http://www.ni.com/download/ni-profibus-for-pcipxi-1.3/2958/en/
My system: Windows7 x64, LabVIEW 2015 SP1 32bit version (also installed LV2016 32bit on the same machine).
After installing the driver, the VIs are still not present in LabVIEW. Others have same problem, see "review" part at the end of this doc: http://www.ni.com/tutorial/6959/en/
Does It mean we need to use LabVIEW 2014 if we wanna use Profibus driver??

Hello Blokk,
please check, if the files are in
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2015\vi.lib\addons\Comsoft.lib
or if they are installed in a different version of LV
Attached the vi´s from my folder

On my PC I have LV2015 SP1 32bit, and LV2016 32 bit installed.
Below I show the content of both "addons" folder. As you can see, there is no "Comsoft.lib" in either of the folders...
Content of "c:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2015\vi.lib\addons\":
_Advanced Signal Processing\ _NIFileIO\ _NISVFA\ _office\ _SPT Obsolete\ _SQL\ _XControls\ Adaptive Filters\ analyzer\ control\ Control Design\ database\ Digital Filter Design\ Fuzzy Logic\ LAVA\ Sound and Vibration\ SPC\ System Identification\ Time Frequency Analysis\ Time Series Analysis\ Wavelet Analysis\ _functions_heliosphere_research_llc_lib_advanced_plotting_toolkit_1.mnu _functions_heliosphere_research_llc_lib_advanced_plotting_toolkit_2.mnu functions_heliosphere_research_llc_lib_advanced_plotting_toolkit.mnu
Content of "c:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2016\vi.lib\addons\":

Hmm, can I use cRIO VIs for PXI?
Edit: this installer worked OK, I got COMSOFT cRIO VIs in my LV2015 "Addons" palette. Can I use these VIs to create a LV project deployable/runnable on NI PXI??

Thanks! Now I can access the VIs. Hopefully NI will fix the installer to work as stand-alone step for LV2015 (16)...

Is this still an issue? Or did the installer get fixed?

Hello dwisti,
there are newer drivers:

I did not tested it.
