CPX400dp example doesnt connect to device - error 1073807343

Hi all,

I'm trying to communicate with a CPX400DP power supply by TTI - by USB and by LAN (changes the visa name accordingly).

I have the same problem i have seen in other posts and i cant figure out how to fix it.

I added the error i get while initializing the VI.

I checked and i have only 1 VISA program, and the MAX sees this device.

have no idea what the problem can be.

did someone fix it?

Hi dkeisar,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry you are having troubles. I was wondering if you could provide the full error message on the front panel and the full error number, we can then look it up and try to diagnosis what is going on. A picture of your block diagram would also be nice.

Also, have you double checked that you have the serial settings matching the that of the instruments user manual?

Finally, a way to determine if you can communicate with your device is to open a VISA test panel, and send a *IDN\n command to it. If you aren't familiar with this, look under the "Establish Communication with your Instruments" section here:
