CRIO 4-20mA

Hi

I've got a Tank of 100 L connected to crio analog module as 4-20ma. Labview software is interpreting the right volume of water present in the system.

Question

Now I need to add one more tank of 100L so that total capacity is 200L. How I can add second tank to the system so that my calculations can reflect 200L. Moreover there is no signal coming from Tank2. I just need to change the signal condition for Tank1 so that

At 20 mA  output should be 200L

AT 4 mA output should be 0L

Tank1 & Tank2 are connected mechanically using a hose.

Scaling

You state that the tanks are physically connected: thus no major software cange needed.

So just adapt you scale so that 20mA  indicates  200l instead of 100l.

Should not be necessary to modify the 4mA if you have previously set it upto indicate zero.
