Caculate phase difference between two sine waves

Solved!
Go to solution

hey guys.........

excuse me, could i join this discussion......???

i've same problem with moreins.......but i've more complicated signal,

i've tried VI from krisna to get phase different of my signal, but i got different phase shift from each method, is it normal?

because the difference between method 1 and method 2 is too far, i.e in method 1 = -150, method 2 = -2.84 E-14

would anyone like to explain about this???

thanks

Hey fandi,

This thread is a bit old. You are likely to get more support if you were start a new thread and reference this one. Anyway, I am not sure what the two methods you are referring to are. What happens when you run the sample code put together by Krisna? What do your two signals look like that make them more complicated?

Hope this helps.

Hi fandi,

Try to extract a single tone (your main frequency) and then measure phase diference between signals.

Hi ahmun,

Which file are you trying to download?

If you were trying to download the Phase Measure Folder.Zip from Krisna Wisnu, I have reloaded it on here to see if that helps. You may also just try downloading it from another internet browser.

How to get the difference between two signal not at the same time.

For example, I use DAQ to measure a sine signal Ur at time t1. After that, I have a signal Ut consist of Ur + Un measure at time t2. Now I want to get the Un = Ut - Ur signal. How to do it?, I get each signal, but it is difference phase, can not subtract together. Plz help me. Thank you

Hi tuananhtbbk,

Can you please provide a little more clarity in what type of difference you’re looking for? Are you looking to find the difference in magnitudes or do some sort of frequency analysis on the signal?

Additionally, you have posted in a forum post that’s over three years old. You will have better responses from the community if you create a new thread and provide a little more detail in your question.
