Call a program and execute/close it from LABVIEW 7

Hi there, I have to do an Access Control System. The equipment is ROSSLARE AC-215, and it uses the Veritrax AS-215 program to manage all the system. But I have to do all the interface in LABVIEW, to be able to see other  variables... I have seen the System Execute.vi program, but it didn't work so good for me, can someone help ?? I will work with Windows XP

Does your Veritrax software has an active x interface?

how do you comunicate with the AC-215 (Usb, serial GPIB)

What was the trouble you had with System Execute?

I preffer the forums in english 'cause there the answer is quick.
