Can Labview Programs run from the Windows System Tray?

Does anyone know if Labview Runtime executables can be run in the Windows System tray? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm creating a program that I want to run in the background, not visible on the desktop or taskbar.

Thanks,

Tom

Oh, making ourselves a keystroke recorder eh?...

I have heard of this being done, but unfortunately don't quite remember how to do it.

If you go to Microsoft's website, you may be able to find information on how to do it. Otherwise, contact NI, they may be able to help you. Start at ni.com/ask.

Good luck, and if you find out, be sure to post it here.

Take a look at G Toolbox. You can add an icon to the system tray.

Thanks for your response.

I put G-toolbox in my user.lib folder, but its system tray CIN doesn't execute in Labview 6.0. Hopefully, a new 6.0 version of G toolbox will be available soon.

G Toolbox for both LV6i & 6.01 are available, but you've to register online.
