Can VISA run-time engine be added to deployment post build?

Solved!

I forgot to include the VISA run-time engine when building my TS/LV deployment. Can the VISA run-time engine be added to a system after it is deployed?

Thanks,

If you would just like the RTE on a certain computer, they can always download it from NI's website.

But if you mean you would somehow like to modify your installer, post-build, its not possible.

I assume I would need to find the installer and run it. My build would have used 4.6.1 if I had checked it. However I see that 4.6.1 is no longer available at the NI site and my deployments would probably be looking for 4.6.1.

Thanks for posting.

In that case i dont think VISA is all too picky, a newer one should work, no?

Else you can make an installer with everything included and reinstall, or a mini one with just VISA as an addendum.

Right you are, 4.6.2 worked fine.

Thanks!
