Can a fill slide be colored like a meter

Is there a way to make a slide fill in with multiple colors, kind of like how the background of a meter looks, so that different value ranges have different colorations.

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there is a ramp
control in at least the classic controls palette. It has a color ramp
and a color box that displays a color based upon the value.

Hi,

With a Little Imagination and tools like Control Editor, you Can do many custom controls.

I am Attaching two Control Slides, with Color Ramp like the meter.

What I did is I replaced the Background of the Meter with a Color Ramp Picture using the control Editor. I hope you are familiar with customizing controls. The Question is Where do I get the Color Ramp Picture. I used the 3D Surface Graph. Went inside the Properties of CW3DGraph Control and Selected Color Map Style. Once Inside the Color Map Editor I created the Ramp I wanted. Very easy to do this.

I then Copied the Window using Alt-PRNT SCRN to MSPaint. I then Cropped the Image so that I get only the Ramp and Nothing else, and Saved it.

See If this Satisfies your need. It was a Goo
d Challenge. If you are not clear How I did it, you can still use the controls as they are. Just Choose these Files using "Select Custom Control.." from the Function Palette on your Front Panel.
