Can i call a "PERL Script" ( it's an exe) to be executed in labview?

i have a routine that is executed by a PERL (Practical Extraction and Report Language ) script, then i want to call this routine and recover some values writen in a text file.

There is a system exec vi in Communication.  Wire you string with the system line command and your done.
