Probably, yes. I cannot say for sure. There may be hidden coode.

It is a bit improper so say that a boolean is the "trigger for the event structure". The trigger would be the function block inside the case structure. The boolean is the data type supplied by the event. The trigger may or may not be fired, depending on the case structure. we can only see one case, the other case(s) are hidden in your image.
