sorry wasnt looking at the code properly. thanks! just one thing, how come file path out isnt connected to anything?

Its not at all needed.... But if you want just connect it after the build array and see what happens.....

You mean, out of the Write to Spreadsheet String.vi?

 

Like Cou Rouge already told you, "The path going out is only a copy."

 

If you want you can use it by passing it to another function that can accept it as input or just display it in an indicator.
