Cannot define DAQmxAssistant palette function

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi

I use NI USB-6259, connecting to Labview 2010 on window 7 64-bit. I think I use NI-DAQmx 9.5.0f2 driver because as I open the MAX, it appears NI-DAQmx 9.5.0f2 as I click Dev1 in Device & interface section. The problem here is that I can't find DAQmx assistant palette function eventhough already configured it as suggested, like find it at;

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5.1\vi.lib\express\DAQmx\DAQAssistantConfig

I couldn't find DAQmx in express folder.

What should I do? your attention is really appreciated.

The DAQ Assistant is located in the Express->Input

The DAQmx functions are located in Measurement I/O->NI-DAQmx

I still can't find DAQmxassistant. It is up until

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\vi.lib\express\..Then, there is no folder/icon of DAQmx.

After that, I downloaded DAQmx 9.5.1 network driver but still can't find the DAQmxAssistant palette function.

It there anything missing?

First of all, it is NOT called DAQmxassistant.

It is called DAQ Assistant.

You should be able to find it in the palet that I wrote in the last post, when you right-click on the block diagram.

Is there a folder under c:\..\vi.lib\ called DAQmx ?
If not, are you sure you installed the DAQmx correct, with the support of you LabVIEW version.

Finally, I found the solution, where I have to install DAQmx 9.2.2 instead of DAQmx 9.5.1. The, the DAQassistant function is appeared.
