If you purchased LabVIEW by itself you recieved an orangish folder of DVDs from Ireland. The S/N is on the back of the folder...Format is MnnXnnnnn where n is a decimal digit
If you recieved it as part of the Developer Suite you recieved a Brown box from London The S/N is on the box and not on any inside material (For the first time) Format is ZnnMnnnnn
Failing that call customer service with your company name and an approximate date of purchase (PO Number is better) they'll help you out fine!
