Cannot reinstall LabVIEW properly

Solved!
Go to solution
Hello all,

I have a machine where I already installed LabVIEW 2009 to make some development. Everything worked fine, I was able to develop my application. I compiled an exe file and uninstalled LabVIEW on the machine. I expereienced some troubles, uninstalling LabVIEW and installing LabVIEW RTE. I don't remember the details, but I finally achieved to make my application running. It is not the first I do this kind of stuff and it is usually rather straight forward.

Now, I have to reinstall LabVIEW on this machine because I need to modify my application. Whatever I do, once LabVIEW is installed, I cannot run it. It says me that the software has been faulty installed and that I should try repair it. I can put the exact sentence, but it is in German unfortunately (Wondows is in German on this machine). I can also try to put a more exact translation if you want to.

Anyway, I tried to uninstall LabVIEW several time and to reinstall it, trying to manually remove residual NI files, cleaning the registers and so on, without success. I really would like to avoid reinstalling Windows. Any idea somebody?

I am running Windows Embedded for point of Service. However, I already worked with labVIEW on this OS without problems. I also tried to install LabVIEW on another PC. It was successful. So it is not a matter of DVD or bad licence. I would like to know now how to deeply, properly and completetly uninstall LabVIEW and all its components to reinstall it as it worked the first time.

Thank you for your help in advance
