Cannot rename project...Memory is full message

Hi,

I'm trying to clean-up a project (LV real-time vers. 8.5.1). When I try to do "Save Project as, rename" the message "Cannot save project, Memory is full" comes back. I do not want to upgrade the Labview version, I have too many items in the field that all have the same version, I just want to rename each project to reflect the serial number.

Just to get the easy things out of the way, have you closed LV, restarted your system, and disconnected from your target (not in that order)?

Is there a way to do it through Explorer? If you simply want the project file name changed, go ahead and rename it. Since it is the top file, there should be no problems.

Also, right clicking on the Project Name allows you to rename it. I do not know if it is available in older versions.

I'll try renaming through explorer...I have tried everything else you mentioned.
