OK, here's a little sample vi I built for what I am trying to achieve. I'm hung up at sensing the next rise in force, then take the second peak reading. I don't think that the Peak Reading VI will work or it could be that I just don't understand it enough to use it.

I need to take the peak and distance of the 2 readings.

Is this what you are looking for. I have generated some data with two peaks. Inside I use the peak detector to find the peaks and give me thier positions.

You will have to get the X coordinates to go with the force measurement. That should be very easy to find the index and then index the x array to that index and get the corresponding value.
