The colouring tool/paintbrush works well.
If you wondering about having individual pages different colours, it's possible in LV6.1 and later. You have to allow it by right clicking on a tab and selecting "Advanced>Allow Multiple Colors" from the popup menu.
Also setable using property nodes. Sorry if I'm missing something.

Hi Donald,

Thanks for the reply. I have tab controls within tab controls and one of the Tab controls tabs has disapeared twice now so I thought it could be something to do with the colours of the tabs. Not sure! It seems to happen when I close LabView Down then reopen the vi later?? although I can still change tabs on that tab control that is disapering in run time to see the other pages, so I thought its not visual but a colour problem??.

I have finished rebuilding the tab controls within tab controls for the second time now and I'm hoping it does not happen again.

Altogether there are three tab controls in series. Please see the attached file "LostTabs.jpg".

The Tab control the starts with the "Configure" tab, all four keep disapering? but not the contents of there pages? Any ideas?

Thankyou again for responding.

It's an option to make the Tabs invisible. Right click on the upper Tab Control border and select Visible Items->Tabs. Maybe you are browsing in a hurry through the popup menus, accidentially selecting this feature. It happens to me sometimes, although usually this would seelct the first item in the popup menu for me.

It seems strange. Even the border of the Tab control disapears. I see what you mean about the visual tab but I know of that. I have just opened the old vi that the problem was in and the tabs are there now. They were'nt last night. I've rebuilt it and it seem ok now. But if it happens again I will capture the screen to show you what it looks like.

I have turned off the auto grows on all of the tab controls could this have any effect?

I have noticed that when placing a tab control onto an existing tab control page it grows huge, but when placing or moving an object in a tab page it moves slightly. I am mentioning this because when the problem occurs the tab controls move indicators appear to represent a larger tab control than what I orignaly had?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Can't find any known issues on this one I'm afraid, but let us know if you see it again and if possible, post the relevant section of code on here.

Hope it behaves itself for you anyway!
