Change data type in LabView for UNIX platform

When I right mouse click on a control in LabView 6.1 on Sun Solaris platform, I do not get the representation sub-menu and hence cannot set the data type.

Has this problem always existed? Can you right click in other programs? On a Mac, one has to hold down apple and click. Do you have any special keys like that?

I can right click in other programs. I have tried all sort of possible special keys. I really have no clue at all.

Make sure the VI is in edit mode. Hit Ctl-M or whatever the equivalent
menu key is on Solaris. This toggles edit and run mode. You may also
find when doing this that the VI is locked or password protected, which
prevents it going to edit mode where the representation menu is.
