Changed Lan?GPIB to USB/GPIB and vi now doesn't work.

I am using Labview 8.6.  My programmer left awhile back. We use the code for testing of power amps.  We were using a LNA to GPIB modem interface (EET) as the interface between the computer and the test gear.  The modem died, and we purchased another GPIB interface modem.  This was a GPIB USB modem.  The computer can talk to each piece of gear individually through the modem.  However, when we run the program, the program hangs on the first direction to a piece of test gear.  The error comes back that the piece of equipment is not the primary controller.  Can anyone help me? I am interested in a longer term arrangement to upgrade our code once this issue is solved.

They are not "modems". These are adapters.

Why didn't you buy another LAN to GPIB adapter?

There is probably addressing in the software that was changed when you went with the different adapter.

The EULA for this web-site restricts me from advertising my service.

There, I fixed that for you, Ben.

Now that I've been invoked I will add this: my suspicion is that the original coder may have hard-coded the interface and/or addresses.
