Changing the name of a VI.

Hi there.

Short time reader, first time poster.

I have been working on a LabView program that is based on a similar program that we have worked on in the past. This means that I started out by copying the old program, and then modifying it to suit my needs.

The program works just fine, but some the VI's have names that are inappropiate because they were named during the creaion of the first project.

Is there a way to rename the VI's without causing problems in all the places that they are used in the project?

Hi Stephan,

open all VI's where the subvi's are in. And choose from the file menu of the subvi Save As.... and rename file on disk

This will update all the VI's.
