Channel by Channel Gain settings for SCXI 1100

My setup is as follows:

SCXI-1000 chassis w/ SCXI-1600 digitizer, SCXI-1100 multiplexer w/ 1303

Can I adjust the gain (via max and min voltage in DAQ-Assist) for each individual channel?  I was told this was not possible by someone with experience in Labview 6.x, but it appears that it is in 8.2.1.  Some channels are in the millivolt range and some are in the volt range.

Hi Alex,

Only one gain can be selected for all the channels on the SCXI-1100.  In the manual in section 3-10 (page 56 of the pdf), the picture shows that the inputs are first multiplexed and then they are amplified by the gain you set.  The gain can be set by changing the range in the DAQ Assistant or by using a DAQmx Channel Property Node in Labview.  With the DAQmx Channel Property Node, the property can be found under the following: Analog Input » General Properties » Advanced » Gain » Gain Value.
