Hi
I have written code to store large amounts of data around a number of infrequent events. However I want to make sure that this storage will not affect the performance of the machine.
Therefore I wish to wire in the memory available on the hard drive of the machine into the VI to help to decide if data should be stored.
Can anyone be of assistance.
Kindest regards
MAC_D

Hi
You should look at the "Get Volume Inf" Vi under the File I/O --> Advanced File function (certainly there in LabVIEW 8.2.1)
From LabVIEW Help
Get Volume Info
Returns information about the volume containing the file or directory specified by path, including the total storage space provided by the volume and the amount free in bytes.
Edited sorry posted at the same time as Andrey
