selecting OPC item with LabVIEW Frontpanel DataSocket there start installer for previous LabVIEW version

Hello,

I´ve a simple problem in my LabVIEW settings (I think)

I´ve a programm in LabVIEW some items with Frontpanel Datasocket When I want to connect a OPC Item to the FrontPanel Element, there start a Installer, which want to Install a Runtime Version of a previous LabVIEW Version (I programm in LabView 8.5.1., and there start a installer for LabVIEW Runtime 7.1.1

I get the message please wait, while windows configurers NI LabVIEW Runtime Engine 7.1.1.

Normally there should be the menu for selecting the OPC item for this Frontpanel element 

I´ve programm some days at this computer without these problems before this error appears, so I think there is a wrong setting.

Hello,

this sounds strange. Have you installed any other software so that this might have caused this wrong behavior? I think that you should deinstall all NI software and install it new.
