Citadel read array, and SV timestamp

Hi.

1. Can I somehow read in the NI Citadel an array (trend display) w/no vi handling it?

2. According to what clock the timestamp of the s-v is set? I cannot understand some s-v trend display in my citadel.

Thanks,

yakir

Hi yakir,

You can read data from Citadel in various ways. You are able to read data through MAX without using a VI. Take a look at this resource about retrieving data from a Citadel database. The timestamps are stored in Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) format. The Historical Data Viewer displays times in the local time zone. What sort of discrepancies are you seeing with your data?

Hi David,

Thanks.

I'm talking about the first option mentioned in your link - Historical Data Viewer in MAX .

If I have some numeric array s-v that I want to display in this viewer, how can I do it without indexing the s-v array?

Hi yakir,

I'm still not exactly sure what your question is. If you want to log and then view data in the Historical Data Viewer, you must follow steps presented in the article regarding logging data with Citadel .

Hi,

I want to display an array using the historical data viewer in the MAX.This article doesn't mention any about arrays.

Once I've saved a s-v array, How can I view its historical data in the historical data viewer?

Thanks,

Yakir.

Historical data viewer can only show scalar numeric types.

You can't even directly display arrays into graph indicators the way you want.
