Close Block Diagram and Front panel at the same time.

Hi there,

I think I remember closing both Block Diagram and Front Panel at the same time from the Block Diagram.

It was something like ctrl+alt+W, or alt+ Close Block diagram.

Unless I just dreamed that.

(I know its possible to close both if I close the Front panel)

Thanks

I don't think there is a predefined shortcut. You CAN add a custom menu shortcut from the options environment page.

I usually go the safe route though an Ctrl+E just to make sure my FP is in a sane location and size on the primary monitor. I've been bit too many times by coding buddies that tile windows or maximize them to close panels I can't see. And the "Enhanced Language™️" I use when backing out often encourages more attention to details like that.

*"Enhanced Language™️" usage may be prohibited by company policy. Review your HR Handbook on workplace conduct for employees.

I also just use Ctrl+e followed by Ctrl+w.  Ctrl+e toggles between the Front Panel and the Block Diagram and Ctrl+w closes the window.  Also already stated, closing the Front Panel will also close the Block Diagram.

I always forget about Ctrl+Shift+W, but it is a nice tool...

Closing a front panel (there) will also close the diagram.

Yeah, I just found it playing around searching for the other (prob not existent) shortcut.

And now I use it now and then.
