Communication between sub panels with global Variables

Hi All

I have a sub panel on my main vi where I load different VIs sequentially into. My question is now, how can I share data from one VI to an other with global variables?

E.g.. I load all my user settings into a global variable in the initialize VI afterwards I load the measure VI into the same sub panel and I read the user settings from the gVar. But unfortunately it doesn't seems to work because the gVar is empty.

Could anyone help me please?

Could you expand on the issue and the resolution in the interest of helping others who will follow in your foot-steps?

But generally speaking I solve most global variable using Action Engines.
