Hello together,
I have a problem with the communication with a VieWorks camera Link camera. I use the PCIe1433. I attached my sample program (Kommunikation_mit_Kamera.vi). The program should read the exposure time. Thats all. After "IMAQ Get Camera Attribute.vi" the error cluster has a red status. I don't get the amount of the exposure time. Why? What can I do?
With the second attached sample program I get a live image, without problems.
Do someone has a idea?
Many thanks in advance.

Hey,
what are the error codes you get? Did you check the Camera Attribute which is the attribute name as documented in MAX? Is it : get<cr> Can you put up a screenshot of your MAX Attributes?
Best Regards
Gregor

Hello together,
unfortunately I haven't a solution untill now. I only can controll the camera with the 4 commands, which are in the MAX (see "MAX_Attributes.png", previous message).
In the attached vi is the code (i got this solution from the NI support). But the VieWorks camera has much more commands.
How can I use the rest of the commands?
I hope anybody has a solution, because it is a urgent problem.
Many thanks in advance.

Vieworks has their own configure exe.
It can be used to configure the camera manually.

Hello Zou,
thanks for your answer.
I want that a LabVIEW program configure the camera. I have the configuration exe (see attached pdf). But I want that during the LabVIEW Program is running, the configuration could change (e.g. Exposure time) through the program.
Do you see any possibility to do this?
Many thanks in advance.

Hello together,
I have a camera file (see attachment). In the MAX I can see only 4 camera attributes, but the VieWorks camera has much more. Should I generate a new icd file with the NI file generator (to see more attributes in the MAX) or is the attached camera file OK?

When you set the attributes in MAX manually, does camera attributes actually changed? You can use Vieworks' config app to verify this.
