Compile doesn't work cause it needs NI Vision 8.0 distribution.

Howdy.

I have a program here at work that was made by a coworker who no longer works here (lucky me).  I have the version of Labview and IMAQ that I believe he was using for this code (Labview = 8.2, IMAQ/Vision = 8.0).  When I try and build the code to an executable and include the NI Vision Runtime Engine 8.0, the build process fails saying it can't find the necessary components.

I see to recall there being an issue with distributing the vision run time engine, but I really don't know the details.

Anyone know what I'm missing or doing wrong?

Thanks

Chuck

Chuck,

You will need to buy a run-time license seat for your exe.  They used to be $295 a few years ago, you will have to get with sales and find out the current price.

Chuck ,

You would require a run time engine for IMAQ

Also try this link for various runtime engines and drivers

may be of some help.
