Computer tries to install device driver for PCI Simple Communication Controller

I recently installed LabVIEW. When I boot up, my Windows 2000 computer tries to find a device driver for a PCI simple communications controller. I do not intend to do any work with the PCI bus (only serial and USB ports). I uninstalled NI-488.2, but the OS still tries to find device drivers. What else do I need to uninstall or do?

Thanks for the help.

Dear sps!
Thank you for choosing National Instruments! I would suggest letting it install a driver once, because after that it would not do that again. Windows is inherently known for searching for new devices everytime it boots up. So, I would suggest either letting it find a driver or list it as an unknown device. That way, you would not be troubled again by it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and Regards
