Hi everybody,
I'm trying to configure the NI 9862 module with cRIO-9054.
I created a new project as shown in the figure1 attached.
I expected to see the NI 9862 leds switch on but this doesn't happen, do you know why?
In the Help_Find Examples... section I searched for some examples compatible with NI 9862 (figure2) and I run some examples. I always got an error "NI-XNET : the interface name given does not specify a valid and existing interface..." (figure3).
I already installed all the requested drivers and I don't know how to solve this error, could you help me please?
I read all papers and past discussions related to this problem but I wasn't able to solve it.
Thank you in advance for the support

Hi GerdW,
if I select CAN0 nothing changes.
I connect the module and I can't understand why the module leds remain switched off.
LEDS detail
Then I get the previous error message everytime I try to run a project.

Can you move the card up under Real-Time Scan Resources?
Or can you run a small code that give you the XNEt hardware available in the RIO, like the one in the thread:

And one more note: You are giving power to the card correct? The card needs external power to function.

Hi dkfire,
I can't move the module under Real-Time Scan Resources, I get this message
I'm not able to run any small code although the XNET driver is correctly installed.
Thank you for your suggestions but I had already provided the correct power supply to the module.
I managed to have the module leds blinking while creating a new NI-XNET Session, but after that operation, when I try to run a project, they switch off and I continue to have the initial error "NI-XNET : the interface name given does not specify a valid and existing interface..."

What software have you installed on the cRIO?

Hello,
I am experiencing exactly the same issues with cRIO-9045 instead of cRIO-9054. Did you able to fix the issue and make it work?
Thanks
