Configuration file in LabVIEW real time

Am developing a real time s/w which reads the data from the file, the information in the file are mailnly configuration data, like which channel should be read and which channel should be controlled. I needed to know if Configuration file VI's provided in LabVIEW can be used for this situation. Also the Configuration file should be created in labWindows / CVI and downloaded on to the s/m running on RTOS. can this be achived?

We use LabVIEW configuration file VI's all the time with LB Real-Time. It should do exactly what you want.

I'm not a CVI User, but you can use the inifile.fp driver file to read/write config files in CVI.

So yes, both systems support reading/writing INI-type config files.
