Connection for subvi and button

Hi,

    I am desigining a Vi with a "main selection page" onthe front panel which acts like NI 'Developer Kit Example Launcher' how do i connect? egs. i click on 'ASK' button it will pop up and run ASK modulation front panel diagram. How can i do it? Thanks!

("Ask?" switch set to latch operation)

     Thanks for your reply but can you tell me what is the name for the VI u used with a watch inside the icon? I can't find it in the timing palette..

The VIs name is "Wait For Frontpanel Activity". It is lacated on the "Dialog & User Interface" (or similar) palette.

If your version is LV 8.x, it has been moved to the Dialog & User Interface palette.

It is the Wait for Front Panel Activity function.

So Sorry but i have to ask you again inside the case structure there is a word ASK inside a square is it also a VI or just label? It should be a Vi isit??

that's your "ASK modulation.vi", i just made a somewhat more descriptive icon - seems I failed

Btw. what's the difference between those two versions you attached to your question?

My apology, i attached the wrong file without knowing it after u mention actually i want to upload a program vi and a subvi, subvi is used for the part where i mention when i click on the ASK button it will pop up a window running the ASK modulation VI. These were told by my project supervisor, the program pop up running the Vi should use subvi within the circuit connection to work.
