Continuous data acquisition with Agilent 34972A

do you happen to know why I can't read the VI you have posted? I have 2013 labview and how can I open it?

Because it is in LabVIEW 2014.  I'm sure the dialog box would have told you that.

Hi,

Can you please share the VI,

even I am planning to use 34972A for temperature measurement using t type thermocouple.

I just want to log data and display every 1 minute and make Grid of channels in front end to show which water tub (with sensor) has got what temperature.

This thread has pretty much everything you need to know to in it to complete your task.

Please read it and try to work it out

If you get stuck post your code and questions.

Can you share this VI of yours? One more question, can this VI continuously scan the data?

I don't know what VI you are asking for but all the answers you seek are probably in this thread. Try to make something that works or even half works. When you get stuck post what code you have tried and ask questions.

BTW: Here is another example of how to properly configure and use this device Don't let the fact that this example is for a 34790A, the 34790A and 34792A are identical devices except for communication options.

Also here's a hint: To record data continually you are going to need to use a proper program architecture like a State Machine, one bog loop is not going to cut it.
