Continuous writing data to Excel

I want to be able to continuously  write my sample data to Excel (One sample every 10 seconds), in order to analyse these later.
My test periods can vary from one hour to six hours, so we are talking a lot of data.
Hope that someone can give me a hint, how to solve this. Thanks.

If you are going to be writing that amount of data I would suggest you use some sort of database to store that data and then use Excel to read that data out and analyze it. You could use MS Access as your database and then import the data to excel to analyze.

Another solution can be to use the MS OFfice Report Generation Toolkit for LabVIEW which has a lot of neat and easy features for creating and exporting reports to MS EXcel.

Writing to excel would be slow and clunky. i would suggest just writing to a tab delimited spreadsheet file. and then do the analysis.

Why not just do the analysis in labview itself.
