Control PIC18F4550 with LabView - NI Visa Driver doesn´t work

Hello,

at first excuse my bad english, it´s not my native language... 🙂

I want to control a PICF4550 microcontroller with LabView via USB.
At first I created a driver *.inf with NI VISA. I hoped with this file
I would be able to install the PIC18 on my pc so I can use the device
in the Measurement and Automation Explorer.

But Windows doesn´t accept the VISA driver. The installation of the
driver always fails.

Have somebody outthere an idea?

What do you mean with "fails"?

Does Windows tries to install another driver for the interface (see link)?

It could be that Windows recognize your device as a device of a specific class and then tries to install the device with an internal driver instead of yours.
