I am a little confused as to what you are asking, are you looking for a path control such that you would be able to select a target device on the network like a cRIO controller?
I would appreciate it if you could elaborate on what you would like to do with this VI; are you attempting to communicate with a target device, or would you like to programmatically control the controller?
