I faced the same task a year ago. My solution was
to record a macro while I manually f
ormatted a
dummy file called template.xls.
I used the EXCEL-macro example that I downloaded
from NI's website and modified it for my needs.
Using Active-X, I opened the XL file I wanted to
format and ran the macro. My measurement table
looked just like the template file.
Once you have a macro, you can modify it using
the Visual Basic Editor in EXCEL.I know exactly
the pain you are experiencing!
