Controlling a Baldor H2 driver with labview?

Iam wondering if anyone has any experience working with Baldor H2 Vector AC drive,  Iam using the NI modbus VI's (8.2), I can control the motor perfectly fine in jog mode but what Iam having trouble with is setting it into a new mode for example "speed mode" or "network mode" and controlling the motor that way. If anyone has any tips that would be greatly appreciated,

Also, have you tried using the activeX control?
