Convert 8.2.1 to 7.1

I'm new to the forums here, but it seems to have a lot of good information that I can use. But what brought me here was that I also need to get my file converted and I saw somewhere in NI page that the program I use at work, version 8.2, won't convert my VI to version 7.1, which we have in university.

Can you help me with this? I'd really appreciate it!

Since I could convert it to 8.0, I posted it here in both versions, in case that helps.

Rodrigo, I converted your vi to 7.1, but I got a lot of error messages, including fpsane errors(not good)

Also, the write to spreadsheet did not support string inputs in 7.1, so this causes problems as well.

I think you should try talking your school into upgrading their LabVIEW, they probably have an academic site license anyways, would make your life a lot easier.

I got to this thread by searching and didn't even notice how old it was, but thanks for the advice.

I'll see what I can do with the file in this version. I just intend to present this using what we have in university, 7.1, but it will actually be used in LV 8.6, after upgrade at work, and after I finish it.

I got the same problem, and while searching on google I found this topic. Is there anyone who wants to convert my program from version 8.2 to version 7.1? I've the program is not fully working, I will fix the problems myself that's OK.
