Convert Traditional DAQ to DAQmx - DIO Port Configure

Hello,

I am switching all of our DAQ software from Traditional DAQ (Legacy) to DAQmx, and I'm puzzled by one vi - the DIO Port Configure vi.  I've attached a jpg of my traditional DAQ code.  Can anyone show me how to convert this to DAQmx?

You can use the DAQ Assistant to generate some general code for this. It would look something like this.

Hi Steve,

I would also recommend taking a look at our DAQmx examples.  These examples can be found by using the example finder in LabVIEW (Help » Find Examples).   Our  DAQmx digital I/O examples can be found by going to  Hardware Input and Output » DAQmx » Digital Measurement, Digital Handshaking, or Digital Generation.  You could also compare these to the Traditional DAQ examples found under » Hardware Input and Output » Traditional DAQ.

I hope this helps,
Paul C.

All,

A bit late but there is a wizard to assist in the upgrade process.

Thank you also, Paul and Matthew.  That information will all be helpful as I convert my software.
