It is my first time to post it. Is it something wrong?

You just don't have any patience.

Here it is as 7.1 but I don't know why you want it. It uses the obsolete DAQ functions and there are examples in 8.6 that do a simple write to a spreadsheet file.

Dear Mr.Dennis Knutson,

Thank you very much for your help. I am using NI DAQPAD-6020E BNC, which is an old DAQ. My friend wrote the VI by version 5.1 long times ago. I just would like to make it working and acquiring signal at low speed. I am a novice of LabVIEW. Could you please tell me that whether it is working or not when I  use the new funciton for a simple write to a spreadsheet file in 8.6? Can I acquire and display the signals from 8 channels simultaneously using this DAQPAD?  Thanks a million.

Kind regards,

Dong

I'm not sure what you mean by 'new function'. In order to use the VI, you have to install the Traditional DAQ driver. If it worked for your friend, I don't see any reason why it would not work now. To acquire 8 signals, you have to list them in the 'channels' control. If I remember correctly, it would be something like 0-7 for consecutive channels, or 1,2,4,etc. for non-consecutive. Each element in the array could also be a separate channel if you want a different configuration for each. If you do that, make sure there are matching elements in the 'input limits' and 'coupling ...' controls.
