Converting 5.1 code to 8.5

The person who wrote the VI used NI's automatic datalogging feature.  The VI doesn't support reading from this datalog and saving the file, it's just for viewing.

Try the attached VI.  Pu it in the same directory with Keithley_DataFile_migrated.

If it runs and stops on i=0, then it is not finding the datalog correctly.  Let me know, there's another way I can try to srite it which should work, but wasn't as quick as this option.

I'm not sure how to save that to the same directory. I saved it into the folder where everything else was saved for these VIs, but I wasn't able to get it to work.

You need to upload that file.  The other method is more complicated than I thought.  Try uploading the file to ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming (zip it up first).

If that doesn't work, I will setup a temp user on my FTP site.

  1. Zip up your data file.
  2. Got to the address I posted:  ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming
  3. Drag the ZIP file into the internet explorer window

I apologize.  I didn't realize NI forbid downloads from the incoming section.  Firefox doesn't show the message.

I need you to reupload the file to my ftp server:

ftp.aitechinc.com
user: ait_anon
password:  ait_anon
