I am unable to save your VI's for the previous version of LabVIEW because you have removed the block diagrams.  Please view the following article for more information on this.  Hope this helps, thanks!

I got myself Labview 8.0 now, but I tried to save for previous. It doesn't allow me to save to 7.0.
I can only have to 7.1. Do you know why? i also replaced the files with no block diagrams with the files with. Can someone please help me? I need this badly.

Hi krispiekream,

Can you attach the VIs without the block diagrams in 7.1 ? Some are in 8.0 & some are in 7.1. Smiley Surprised I m having only 7.1. Smiley Sad

Then only anybody can convert them to 7.0.

Because, LV allows downconversion upto only one earlier version, except 8.5, which allows for both 8.2 & 8.0. Smiley Happy

Additionally, the last file you sent  (krispiekream.zip) appears to have many (most) of the files password protected

You don't need to know the password for a succesful downconversion, so that's not a serious problem. 😉

I was getting the password message at the "unzip" point and it seemed like a bunch. Just gave up after a while.

Christian, how are you doing with the fires. I seem to recall that you are over in Venice Beach, if so I guess you have a lot of city (no vegetation) between you and the fires.

Yes, we're fine in terms of fires in Venice, however the air was and still is absolutely horrible. My eyes are still burning. I cannot image how bad the air pollution (smoke and particulates) was nearer to the burn areas.

Here's a recent satellite picture from NASA, look at the scale bar.

I tried to convert your subVI's back to LabVIEW 7.0, but at least two of them still have the block diagram removed.  Also, could you save the ones that are saved as LabVIEW 8.0 back to LabVIEW 7.1?  That simplify the process on our end, thanks!
