You have to right click on Read Text File and select "Read Lines" like Crossrulz mentioned.

Seriously though, do you read 9,243 as:

 

Nine thousand two hundred forty three

 

OR

 

Nine and two hundred forty three thousandths? (slightly greater than the number 9)

I see. I always found I learned the most by struggling with a problem for a long time, even if I didn't get the right answer! It is a good approach for LabVIEW too.
