Not sure what you're asking here... Are you asking about an added feature for subVI configuration?

 

What subVI is that? If it's a subVI that pops up a dialog box for the user, you can usually go inside the subVI and configure the dialog. If that's not the case, then you can create your own dialog using the File Dialog express VI and pass that path to this subVI.

The subVI is created by me, but the selection box belongs to a VI palette of functions. You know some link where you explain how to do this? Thank you.

In LabVIEW 2015 you could in theory do exactly what you want, but it would require a lot of knowledge about scripting. Alternatively you might be able to do it as a custom-built Express VI.
