The section on Using the Instrument Driver VI Wizard makes it seem like on the start page of the wizard there should be 4 options that I can choose from to create a new instrument driver, but for some reason I only see the options to create a driver from a template or to copy an existing driver. The options for configuring my own VI or starting with a blank VI are no where to be seen. Anyone know why these options might not be under the pull down menu in the start page of the create a driver wizard?

Those steps refer to right-clicking on the .lvlib file and selecting "New...". It's based on already having created the instrument driver project from the previous step. The .lvlib is the actual instrument driver library. The project acts a store for the library as well as example VIs on how to use the driver. It also contains build specifications for distribution, if necessary.
