Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to add the DSC run-time to an installer?
I'm using LabVIEW and DSC 8.6 and I do have the license for the DSC run-time.
In '"Additional Installers", I've checked the fallowing boxes:
When I open MAX after the installation, I don't see the Citadel database and there is no trace of the DSC run-time module.
How can I have a single installer that will do the job?
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Purchasing the DSC Module Run-Time allows you to add it as an additional installer. This will include things like the citadel database and the rest of the functionality offered by the DSC run-time.

Thank you Andrew!
I just installed the DSC RTS on my computer (I had the devellopment module before) and I still don't see any new box that would allow me to include the DSC RTS to my installer in the "Additional Installers" page.
The only thing that referes to DSC is the "NI Enhance DSC Deployment Support for LabVIEW 8.6" which is selected and won't install the DSC RTS.
Do I need to activate the DSC RTS in order be to able to include it to an installer? The DSC RTS license belongs to my customer so I don't want to activate it on my computer. My computer (devellopment) has the DSC module installed and activated.
So what I would like is having a installer with everything on it, go to the customer office, install my stuff (the single installer that we are talking about), activate is DSC RTS and come back home... Maybe the DSC RTS has to be installed from the NI cd.
Thanks for your help!

Hello,
Yes, As long as your customer has the DSC run-time system installed and activated on their machine, they should be able to use your exe with the included installer. Then you wouldn't need an installer for it because it would already be installed and the computer should then have MAX and the Citadel database. You will not be able to install the RTS as an additional installer unless you activate it on your machine. Hope this helps.
