Custom Controls

I've followed the description on how to create custom controls from the National Website..I think it was the Knowledgebase.

I have 18 indicators that are on my front panel.  I modified one using custom controls.  How do I replace the other 17 with the custom control I created for the other one?

hi, you can save your custom control as type def control, then you can replace all the other contorl on your front panel with this control

Making sure I did this right...pressed for time.

I create the custom control.  Which I've already done.  I save it as a "type def" from the drop down menu in the upper left of the edited control next to the wrench icon.

I then can do a "replace" of that indicator ??
